We are delighted to announce we have appointed Converge Technology Specialists (Converge TS), the country’s only dedicated Cloud computing provider specifically for law firms as our cloud provider.
Expansion
The deal will see the Converge TS team deliver a fully hosted desktop environment to staff across both our London and Manchester offices for an initial period of three years. The appointment was made as a result of our growing case load and the opening of a London office earlier in 2015.
Matthew Claughton, Olliers Managing Director, explains:
“Our growth trajectory means we need an IT infrastructure that not only facilitates further growth but meets the strict regulatory obligations placed upon us by our professional bodies. In Converge TS we have found a partner that is effective at delivering both. Their knowledge of law firm requirements is second to none and they have a proven reputation in offering a reliable, fast and secure service.
“Having a single, secure and compliant IT solution is essential for effective teamwork across our offices and client service. It also enables us to boost productivity and offer a more flexible working environment for our staff, such as remote working. When bidding for criminal aid work, there is a requirement to effectively demonstrate that we operate in a secure, compliant and efficient way.”
Digital Transformation and Continued Success
2015 has been an extremely successful year for Olliers so far particularly with our Managing Director, Matthew Claughton, winning the Manchester Legal Awards Partner of the Year 2015 and his recent nomination for Solicitor of the Year – Private Practice at The Law Society’s Excellence Awards 2015. The firm continues to look to the future and we consider Converge to be an essential partner in our plans.
Converge TS’s founder and managing director, Nigel Wright, commented:
“Olliers are an award-winning and progressive firm and we’re very happy to be working with them. Their adoption of cloud technology, and the benefits this will bring, clearly demonstrates their forward-thinking and client-centred approach. The move to cloud will support Olliers’ growth plans and their continued focus on delivering an excellent service for their clients.”
Converge
Converge TS has over 60 UK-based clients including firms such as JMW, Bridge McFarland, Linder Myers, O’Neill Patient, Pannone Corporate and Total Conveyancing Services. Its investment strategy, aimed at maximising the growth of its Cloud services across the country, is backed up by research which points out that whilst only 10% of UK law firms currently use hosted services, by 2018 the figure will rise to close to 90%. Founded in 2006, they have a solid track record of year on year growth with a 99% client retention rate.
