Top Criminal Law Firm Plans Growth with Flexible Working and Cloud Technology

Written 13th October 2015 by Olliers Solicitors

Ever wondered what it would be like to avoid rush hour traffic or to get a seat on the Tube? For those of you nodding your heads and answering yes, you could be exactly what Top Law Firm Olliers are looking for. Olliers are seeking talented Consultants from around the country to complement and become a valuable part of their existing workforce. Flexible working, the concept of  “work is an activity, not a place” is more of a reality especially within this modern, digital age.

The Consultant Lifestyle

We are Manchester based but in 2015 opened an annexe in Mayfair. Our cloud based servers are hosted by legal industry specialists Converge TS. This year we have recruited three London based consultants. Our new consultants work on a flexible basis and can access our facilities as quickly as our Manchester team. They work flexibly and each of them has other commitments away from the firm. For example one is a lecturer, another a local councillor and another provides compliance services to a number of firms.

Why Choose Olliers?

Olliers is ranked as a Top Tier firm in the 2015 editions of both the Legal 500 and Chambers Guide. Matthew Claughton is the Manchester Legal Awards Partner of the Year and shortlisted for Solicitor of the Year at the Law Society’s Excellence Awards. The firm has a total of eighteen Solicitors and a number of other caseworkers and paralegals.  We have an excellent record in acting in high profile cases and defending serious/complex matters.  Our servers are hosted allowing high speed access and our back office function remains in Manchester.  We are Lexcel accredited and have a high peer review score.

A Flexible Future

Matthew Claughton, Managing Director states:

“We are looking to expand our network of consultants to lawyers who may have their own following and who may be keen to work under the umbrella of the Olliers organisation on a flexible and agile basis.  This is an exciting and innovative approach towards case work.   It may not suit all, but for those who are keen on a level of flexibility and who may be able to attract larger scale cases this may be a unique opportunity.

We are not restricting our proposals to London and would be interested to hear from potential consultants in any major city including Manchester.”

Should you be interested please contact Matthew Claughton, Manging Director, by telephone on 0161 8277010 or by email at matthewclaughton@olliers.com.
